Download the Glympse app to create a Premium Tag and then share it with people. They can follow you in real-time to know where to meet you. You’re in control of how you share and when you share.

Like everything we create, Glympse Premium Tags offer communication between the right people at the right time when it matters the most. It’s an ideal solution for the following:

Download Glympse (iOS or Android) and create a Glympse account.

At the bottom of the navigation panel, tap the "G" button and then "Purchase a Premium Tag".

In the "tag name" box, enter the name for your Premium Tag, such as TheMarathoners or RoadRally5.

After verification, you'll be redirected for mobile payment processing.

Once the purchase is made, you can customize your Glympse tracking experience.

You’ll be given a link to share with the public. Anyone who clicks on the link will see your real-time location for as long as you allow, with or without downloading the Glympse app.

What are Premium Tags?

Glympse Premium Tags is our extension of our Consumer App. Glympse Premium Tags provides customization options that allow you to personalize the Glympse Tag experience. You can create a one-of-a-kind experience by customizing logos, colors, and other branding elements. Premium Tags is all about customization and adding extra value to the Glympse experience.

How Much Does a Glympse Premium Tag Cost?

For the organization or business creating an account, there is a $99 yearly fee that’s automatically renewed after one year to ensure you have a specific name that stays with your organization year after year.

Note: For your audience or community residents, tracking location is completely free for them to view. Anyone who clicks on the link will see your real-time location for the event — with or without downloading the Glympse app.

How many Glympse Premium Tags can I have?

As many as you want. Customize each Glympse Premium Tag how you wish.

How do I Purchase a Glympse Premium Tag?

  1. Download our Glympse Consumer app from the App Store or Google Play Store
  2. Open the app and create a Glympse account by providing a valid email address and follow the on screen instructions.
  3. Press the “G” symbol at the bottom of the screen
  4. In the pop up window, press “Purchase Premium Tag”
  5. Enter the desired name for your tag and press 'Check Availability' to see if your Tag Name hasn’t already been taken.
  6. If the tag name is available, scroll down and press continue to pay.
  7. Your payment will be processed by Apple Store or Google Play.
  8. Once payment is confirmed, congratulations! You have created your Premium Tag.
  9. You will have the option to configure your new tag right away by pressing ‘Configure your tag’ or configure it later and return to your main map.

How Accurate is the Location and Tracking?

Glympse is a worldwide, award-winning, uber-like location technology company. The public will see real-time updates in an easy user interface with highly accurate location data.

What Elements can I Customize?

You have a range of customization options available to personalize your experience. Here's what you can customize:

  • Header Logo and Color: You can customize the header logo and color, allowing you to showcase your brand or add a personal touch to your tag.
  • Tag Specific Avatar: You can upload a tag specific avatar, different from your personal profile avatar. If you set an avatar for the tag, all members who share the tag will display this same tag avatar. If you don't upload a tag-specific avatar, the profile avatars of the members sharing to the tag will be used instead.
  • Tag Specific Name: You can set a tag specific name to be used across all the tag members sharing to the tag instead of the profile tag. If you don't set a tag-specific name, the profile names of the members sharing their location will be used instead.
  • Custom Colors: Choose three custom colors that will be used throughout your Premium Tags.
  • Header Link: Add a link to the header of your Premium Tag. When users click on the header, the link will open in a separate tab, providing additional information or directing them to a specific webpage.
  • Pre-defined Routes: Define up to seven specific routes for Premium Tag journey and assign a different route every day. This allows you to plan visits and guide people to the designated locations, ensuring they know where to meet the Premium Tag user on different days.
  • Custom Ad Banner: You have the option to upload your own ad banner, and it will appear at the bottom of your premium tag's map.. The recommended image size is 468x60 pixels. Additionally, you can specify a link for the ad banner, allowing it to open in a separate browser tab when users tap on it.
  • Predefined Route: You have the option to either create your new route or choose from existing ones to be displayed on the map.
  • Set Password: You can add a password to protect your tag. The password protected tag is still viewable by anybody, but only those who know the password can share their location to your map.

Any elements you choose not to customize will default to Glympse resources.

How Do I Share Glympse with my Community?

Glympse creates a link specific to you and/or your event. Share it broadly with others by posting it to your website, sending on social media, emailing to others, turning it into a QR code, and more. Anyone who clicks on the link will see your real-time location for the time you choose— with or without downloading the Glympse app.

How Do I Download An Invoice?

We understand that your organization might need an invoice for their records. Because payments for Glympse Premium Tags are made through the App Store, you will need to retrieve this from the App Store; not from Glympse. To retrieve your invoice from the Apple App Store, please see here
