How do I create a password-protected Glympse Public Tag?

Add a password to your Glympse Public Tag to control who can share their location on the map. Anyone can view the tag, but only those with the password can join.

How to Set Up a Password-Protected Tag:

  1. Create a Tag in the Glympse app (Tags > Create a Tag).
  2. Add a password in curly brackets { } at the end of the tag name.
    • Example: SmithFamilyRoadTrip{SEATTLE}
  3. Share the tag + password with those you want to join.

Things to Know:

  • The password only works if you’re the first person to create the tag.
  • Passwords can’t be changed, so choose wisely!
