What is the My Places Feature?
Glympse My Places in the Glympse app lets you save and quickly access important locations—like home, work, or your favorite coffee shop. With just a tap, you can share or request a saved spot without retyping the address. It’s perfect for everyday convenience, parking reminders, and smooth coordination with others.
Step-by-step guide for saving, editing, and deleting locations in Glympse My Places.
To Save a Location:
- Open the Glympse App
- Go to the map screen within the app (where you can see where you currently are on the map)
- Press and hold on the phone’s screen. Hold the location with your finger for 1-2 seconds to save the location you are at. A pop-up will appear asking if you want to “Create Place.”
- Confirm and Name the Place: In the next window, confirm the destination (i.e., Home, Work, etc) and give it a name.
- Save the Location: Press the save icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
To Edit/Delete a Saved Location:
- Open the Glympse App.
- Access your photo/avatar in the top left corner of the screen.
- Go to Settings: Press ” Settings “
- Manage My Places: Navigate to “Manage My Places” to view your list.
- Edit or Delete: Select where you want to edit or delete.
