What is the My Places feature?

My Places is a Glympse App feature that allows users to save important locations to their My Places list. After you add your saved location to My Places, it can be used to either share or request using that saved location as the destination.

This feature is also great for remembering where you last parked in a busy parking lot. Before you leave your car, save your location, then bring up your list of My Places to view where you last parked.

To save a location to My Places:

1. Open the Glympse App
2. In the Map menu, press and hold on the screen which place you want to save
3. A pop-up will appear asking if you want to “create place”
4. In the next window, you will be asked to confirm the destination and give the place a name
5. Once you are satisfied with the edits, press on the save icon in the bottom right corner of the screen

You can now use your saved location for when sharing or requesting location in the “add destination” field of the sharing menu.

To delete/edit a saved location in My Places:

1. Open the Glympse App
2. Select your avatar on the top left corner of the screen
3. In the avatar menu, press on “settings”
4. In the settings menu, press on “MANAGE MY PLACES”
5. Select which My Places you want to edit/delete
